Julia Davids, D.M.A.
Julia Davids, D.M.A. enjoys a thriving career as a singer, conductor, and music educator. Dr. Davids is the Artistic Director of the Canadian Chamber Choir, Music Director for the North Shore Choral Society (Evanston, IL), Director of Music Ministries at Trinity United Methodist Church (Wilmette, IL), and Editor of The Canadian Chamber Choir Series (choral music for accomplished choirs). With over 25 years of experience working with singers, she is sought after as a clinician and guest conductor. Julia has degrees in music education vocal performance, and conducting from Western University, the University of Michigan, and Northwestern University. She is the Stephen J. Hendrickson Professor of Music and Chair of Choral Activities at North Park University, Chicago.
Stephen LaTour, Ph.D.
Stephen LaTour, Ph.D. is a psychologist, choral singer, and church soloist. Dr. LaTour’s research has appeared in numerous psychological, management, and healthcare journals. He was a professor at Northwestern University for 17 years and was president of an international research and consulting firm for more than 35 years. Memberships include the Acoustical Society of America, the research scientist honor society, Sigma Xi, and the American Psychological Association.
